by Brianna Crandall — April 19, 2017 — Facilities managers who are considering renovating their high-traffic restrooms to make them more appealing to visitors, customers and staff as well as vandal-resistant and easier to maintain may be interested in Willoughby Industries’ new addition to its commercial lavatory lineup: the Envy two- and three-station solid-surface lavatory systems.
The lavatory is made of Aquasurf, a solid surface material resistant to stains, impacts and burns.
The durable new lavatory decks, available in nine designer colors, are designed for high-traffic restroom facilities. The lavatory deck is cast as one solid piece of Aquasurf, a proprietary blend of molded cast polymer densified solid surface material that is resistant to stains, impacts and burns, and requires less maintenance than tile.
The wall-mounted pedestal is fabricated from vandal-resistant, heavy-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, and the pedestal features a shroud access panel secured with screws for ease of fixture installation and maintenance. The included drain grate is constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel, and secured directly to the drain basket.
All exposed stainless steel surfaces are polished to a #4 satin finish.
