Cushman & Wakefield expands critical environments services with EnSite acquisition

by Brianna Crandall — November 23, 2016 — International real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) just announced that the firm has acquired Irving, Texas-based EnSite Solutions in a transaction that increases Cushman & Wakefield’s critical environments services and is seen as a “great fit culturally,” as both firms reportedly have a strong focus on outstanding client service.

EnSite provides maintenance and repair for HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning), generator, UPS (uninterruptible power supply) and fire protection equipment, offering cost-effective maintenance programs for critical facilities — including data centers, telecommunications and health care facilities.

EnSite founder and President Toby Thomas will serve as Cushman & Wakefield’s senior managing director, Critical Environments, and will be based in Dallas. EnSite Solutions’ employees will join Cushman & Wakefield’s Integrated Facilities Maintenance business and continue to be based in Dallas.

Cushman & Wakefield said EnSite’s platform enables C&W clients to access a national network of top-tier partners for these services, and in the longer term, EnSite’s technology will allow Cushman & Wakefield to create a more robust, customized service platform.
