by Brianna Crandall — October 19, 2016 — Out of the numerous innovative security technology products premiering at the biennial Security Essen, held in September in Essen, Germany, Messe Essen selected nine winners in three categories to honor with the Security Essen Innovation Award for 2016.
This year, exhibitors submitted 84 applications in the areas of Technology and Products, Services, and Fire Protection. The expert jury assessed the submissions in matters relating to innovation content, unique selling points and user benefits.
The Security Essen Innovation Award winners for each category are as follows:
