by Brianna Crandall — April 15, 2016 — Sloan, manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems, recently announced that Sloan products have been selected for the legendary Wrigley Field ballpark in Chicago, which is currently undergoing a long-term restoration. Sloan and MLB’s Chicago Cubs have been connected in Wrigley Field since 1914.
The Cubs are beginning their 102nd year at the ballpark with the second largest clubhouse in Major League Baseball. The brand-new state-of-the art home clubhouse, which expanded from 11,000 square feet to more than 30,000 square feet, features an “all-star lineup” of sustainable Sloan products, including sinks, sensor faucets and soap dispensers as well as toilets, urinals and flushometers.
Sloan restroom fixtures are also featured throughout the iconic ballpark.
In 2015, Sloan became the club’s official water efficiency partner. Sloan products are helping the Cubs organization expand its ongoing sustainability efforts and improve the fan experience at Wrigley Field and Sloan Park, the team’s Spring Training facility in Mesa, Arizona. Sloan’s expertise in water efficiency is anticipated to help the Cubs reduce their overall environmental impact.
