NeoCon 2018: Find out how this self-cleaning exterior paint from Sherwin-Williams can help avoid costly repaints and frequent cleaning

by Brianna Crandall — June 20, 2018 — Sherwin-Williams, developer of technologically advanced paint and coatings for over 150 years, unveiled its 2019 Colormix Color Forecast at the Neocon 2018 contract furnishings show in Chicago last week along with new colors for various markets, updates to the company’s paint color visualizer app and matching device, and a new self-cleaning exterior paint.

Colormix Color Forecast

This marks the 10th official year of the Sherwin-Williams color trend report. The annual forecast is influenced by everything from fashion trends and textures in nature to international travel and pop culture. This year’s Colormix Color Forecast is a master palette of 42 key hues for 2019. It features six unique color journals: Shapeshifter, Wanderer, Aficionado, Enthusiast, Naturalist and Raconteur. Each journal tells its own story, allowing for flexibility in arrangement and design to further inspire clients and projects in the coming year.

New color palettes bring latest trends to life across markets

Color can make a positive impact on a space and its inhabitants, points out Sherwin-Williams. Drawing on the latest color trends from the Colormix Color Forecast, the company created new, specially curated palettes specifically for the commercial, multifamily, health care, hospitality and education markets, providing even more resources to design and facilities management (FM) professionals. Three unique palettes for each market segment show how broad color forecasting trends apply to these specific spaces.
