NeoCon 2020: If you want outdoor furniture that works inside, too, check out Studio TK

by Brianna Crandall — July 3, 2020 — Contract furniture company Studio TK recently announced that it has entered into a new venture with Vondom, a Spanish provider of sophisticated outdoor furniture and accessories for modern indoor and outdoor commercial spaces. Studio TK is offering Vondom’s Africa, Delta, and Kes seating lines, and Mari-Sol tables, in North America.

The announcement is particularly apropos with official encouragement to be outdoors for distancing purposes, but the products are all versatile enough to work indoors or in transitional areas.

Charlie Bell, president, Studio TK, explained:

Collaborating with Vondom extends Studio TK into the new environment of outdoor space. But it’s not simply just outdoor, it creates the opportunity for mixed-use indoor/outdoor environments that serve as hubs to create company culture. The same furniture can now flow from the indoor café to the outdoor patio and create a cohesive space. We selected these new seating and table lines with the evolving needs of our clients in mind.

Kes chair

Designed by Gabriele + Oscar Buratti, Kes is a simple chair and armchair. The collection of seating is well suited for transitional indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing for use in the indoor café as well as the outdoor patio.

The essence of this collection is reflected in its simple and natural forms, says Studio TK. As the Africa collection’s designer, Eugeni Quitllet, says: “The most simple things are the most original. The most original thing is to be simple.”

Delta chair with armrests

The Delta collection by Jorge Pensi can blend equally well with exterior or interior contemporary spaces. The design intent behind the Delta chair was to create a timeless product that constantly seeks to strike a balance between realism and surrealism, maximizing emotions while minimizing resources.
