Quantech expands line of chillers, intros condensers

by Brianna Crandall — February 22, 2017 — Quantech’s offering of air-cooled chillers will expand to 360 tons in March, and a new water-cooled line will be launched with a range of 50 to 200 tons, also in March. Later in the year, Quantech says it will introduce condensing units and condensers. Quantech has also diversified the units it keeps in stock; that line-up now includes 185-, 210-, 230- and 270-ton air-cooled units.

Quantech chillers are inventoried in the company’s logistics center near Dallas, Texas. Service contractors and design-build contractors can source chillers from Quantech representatives. In-stock chillers are typically shipped within 24 hours of receipt of the purchase order and are delivered in two to five days, minimizing downtime and restoring comfort quickly, says the company.

Quantech chillers are manufactured as part of the Johnson Controls product portfolio in manufacturing plants in North America. They are available exclusively through the independent rep channel. All chillers are AHRI certified and meet other industry-wide standards such as ETL, UL, and ASHRAE.
