Check out Rinnai’s new commercial water heating system that meets high hot-water demand with lower operating costs, easier serviceability

by Brianna Crandall — January 31, 2018 — Rinnai America Corporation, a North American manufacturer of tankless gas water heaters and a subsidiary of Rinnai Corporation in Japan, recently announced a new addition to its commercial water heating lineup — the Demand Duo 2.

Water heating system: tank with two heaters

Demand Duo 2 commercial water heating system combines the hybrid technology of Demand Duo products with the redundancy and performance of commercial rack systems.

Building off the success of the company’s current line of commercial products, the Demand Duo 2 combines the hybrid technology of the Demand Duo product family with the redundancy and performance of its commercial rack systems. The system features a 119-gallon storage tank along with two CU199 Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters that work together to offer the best benefits of both tank and tankless technology.

Dale Schmitz, marketing manager at Rinnai America Corporation, stated:

We’ve already seen a huge amount of success with the Demand Duo line. The great thing that the Demand Duo 2 does for us is that it allows us to scale up that technology and offer a solution that works for commercial customers who have higher hot water demands.

In addition to its built-in redundancy and strong performance, Demand Duo 2 is said to offer longer life, lower operating costs, easier serviceability and maintenance, a longer warranty and better technology. The system is also lighter and takes up less space than competitive products, requires no ASME certification or inspections, and has the most venting options in the industry.
