New York companies eligible for up to $155,000 per site for real-time portfolio management through Switch Automation

by Brianna Crandall — August 24, 2016 — The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has just named Switch Automation as a qualified Real Time Energy Management (RTEM) System and Service Provider.

This means that Switch Automation, with NYSERDA, can now help New York-based office buildings, retail sites, colleges and universities, health-care facilities, state and local governments, schools, etc., launch a real-time portfolio management program with up to 30 percent program cost savings.

Switch Automation will provide a discounted software platform that collects and posts their building portfolio data from a variety of sources to the cloud, giving real-time visibility into building performance, and one central command and control center for their entire portfolio.

Deb Noller, Switch Automation CEO, commented:

A lot of people around the world are talking about smart cities, but nobody is actually doing it successfully. NYSERDA’s RTEM program is a great starting point to make sure that New York leads the global charge in creating truly smart cities, by first improving the way that we manage buildings.
