Trane air conditioner provides quiet comfort for hotel guests

by Brianna Crandall — November 13, 2015—Trane, a global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of quality-of-life business Ingersoll Rand, recently introduced the ProSpace packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) quiet comfort system to deliver air comfort and quality to the hospitality industry.

Trane ProSpace PTAC

ProSpace PTAC features humidity control for individual air-quality management, wireless thermostat and remote control capabilities, and an unobtrusive design.

Quality of sleep is a key driver of overall hotel guest satisfaction, points out Trane. ProSpace is designed to deliver reliable temperature management and exceptionally quiet performance, helping create a peaceful atmosphere for hotel guests.

The system features humidity control for individual air-quality management, wireless thermostat and remote control capabilities, and an unobtrusive design that easily blends in with a room’s décor. Trane says it consistently delivers the reliable performance and quiet operation that hotel executives, staff and guests expect from heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

ProSpace PTAC was awarded the “Winning in Sleep Partner” designation by the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) during the Owners Conference in October. The designation was given to conference participants showcasing products and services that help provide a better night’s sleep for hotel guests.
