by Brianna Crandall — January 11, 2016—Construction management firm AFG Group was recently awarded a multiple award, five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Under the contract, AFG will provide construction management (CM) services to NIST in Gaithersburg, Maryland. CM task orders are expected to involve all phases of construction.
AFG was one of three awardees selected to receive CM fees from a combined contract amount of $9.8 million throughout the life of the contract. AFG Vice President Ken Reese will be the contract executive managing all tasks from predesign through post construction.
