by Brianna Crandall — February 1, 2016—Six companies were recognized last week for winning Environmental Protection‘s annual New Product of the Year contest. The contest attracted product entries in nine award categories, with an independent panel of judges choosing the winners.
Editorial Director Jerry Laws said there were “high-quality, innovative entries in every category, which is one more encouraging sign that the environmental marketplace is dynamic and growing.”
To be eligible for the 2015 awards, products must have been introduced to the market during the 2015 calendar year.
The award categories, the winners in each category, and their winning products are:
- Air Quality and Climate: ParkUSA, for OdorTrooper Interceptor
- Environmental Management: New Pig Corp., for PIG Spill Response Tactics Training
- Health and Safety / Cleanup: EXAIR, for High Lift Reversible Drum Vac
- New Technology — Industry: New Pig Corp., for PIG Battery Acid Spill Kit in a Cart
- Recycling: Air Cycle Corp., for Bulb Eater 3 with Intelli Technology
- Software / SaaS: 3E Company, for Ariel WebInsight 9.0
- Waste: ParkUSA, for ZooTrooper ZT
- Wastewater: ParkUSA, for PolyCat
- Water: Onset, for HOBO MX2001 Water Level Logger
In addition to being honored last Monday, the winners will be featured on the Environmental Protection New Product of the Year Award 2015 Web page.
