by Brianna Crandall — April 29, 2016 — With the newly developed Bosse Telephone Cube, resembling a traditional phone booth, Bosse Design, a brand of the Dauphin HumanDesign Group, offers a functional and flexible solution for undisturbed telephone conversations in open-plan offices.

The Telephone Cube is based on Bosse’s successful Human Space Cube, an attractive and practical room-within-a-room solution for focused work, small group meetings, or as a technology space in open-plan offices. Independent of the building itself, the Human Space Cube is based on a fully electrifiable building-block system and can be freely positioned within an open-plan room.

Bosse Telephone Cube is a flexible room-within-a-room for sound privacy, independent of the building itself, with ventilation system and integrated technical panel.

With the newly developed Bosse Telephone Cube, Bosse Design offers a functional and flexible solution to the difficulty of conducting confidential phone calls in open-plan offices, whether to make a doctor’s appointment or a call to the personnel department to discuss personal matters.

Covering an area of 1.14 m x 1.14 m — slightly larger than the normal street version — the phone booth that has gone out of style is now making a comeback, says Bosse.

The Bosse Telephone Cube offers all the benefits of its proven room-within-a-room system in a space-saving format. Independent of the building itself, the practical Telephone Cube can be set up and taken down again quickly. A specially developed ventilation system that is integrated into the ceiling ensures a stable temperature as well as an adequate supply of fresh air.

An acoustic panel and a glass door guarantee excellent sound insulation and absorption, meaning an employee can make a telephone call in private without disturbing their colleagues. The acoustic panel can be individually printed both on the inside and the outside — the possibilities are endless, says Bosse.

Thanks to an integrated technical panel, the Telephone Cube can be connected to the mains, and with its Netbox Point (connection for power and Wi-Fi), it ensures that the batteries of mobile phones and tablets are always adequately charged.

As to sustainability, all technical functions, for example the LED lighting and ventilation, are controlled via a movement sensor and react automatically as soon as the Cube is used, guaranteeing optimal energy efficiency.
