ISSA partners with Ghana cleaning association

by Brianna Crandall — June 24, 2016 — ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, recently signed a strategic alliance agreement with the Contract Cleaners Association of Ghana (CCAG).

CCAG currently represents more than 100 contract cleaning companies in the West African country. The agreement calls for these CCAG members to become ISSA members as part of the association’s continued mission to support the global cleaning industry.

Sammy Laing, president of CCAG’s Board of Directors, welcomed the alliance, saying:

As president of CCAG, I am very pleased that we have been recognized by ISSA and that our efforts to progressively professionalize the cleaning industry in Ghana have not been in vain. This alliance will quicken, and enhance, the processes needed to help the professional cleaning industry in Ghana to become truly world-class and operating on globally accepted best practices.

Responding to Laing’s comments, John Barrett, executive director of ISSA, said:

We at ISSA are inspired by the enthusiasm the CCAG has for helping raise the level of professionalism in the Ghana cleaning market. That is why we are so pleased to work together with the CCAG to bring global resources to their members. This reinforces ISSA’s mission to help change the way the world views cleaning.
