by Brianna Crandall — June 27, 2016 — Sealed Air’s Diversey Care division has announced the launch of Diversey Express, a unique combination of high-professional cleaning solutions, specially designed cleaning tools and a revolutionary training app. The suite of tools and solutions was created to provide the highest level of cleaning standards and food safety compliance for small foodservice facilities.
The Diversey Express range is comprised of single-use packets of concentrated cleaning solutions, containing exact doses to ensure the right amount is used each time. This approach limits both water and chemical consumption, leading to cost reductions of up to 30 percent. The single-use packets are also lightweight, and are therefore easily transported.
Each single-use packet is color-coded to ensure correct use, and simply needs to be mixed with water to be effective. Each of the seven products has a different cleaning functionality to ensure that every cleaning requirement is met. The products are ideal for smaller foodservice establishments, as the solution requires minimal storage space and low out-of-pocket expense.
The solutions also work alongside a range of specialty cleaning products and tools to make the cleaning process for foodservice facilities more streamlined, including cleaning tools for the kitchen, floor, interior and manual ware.
Diversey Express was designed to improve food safety compliance, ensuring guest safety and brand protection.
Training app
Diversey Care has also developed a “revolutionary” training application within the Diversey Express offering. This app provides those in the foodservice industry with a selection of video tutorials, instructing employees on how to quickly and efficiently clean surfaces and equipment in the facility using Diversey Express cleaners and tools.
This innovative online training app is available for employees 24/7, and provides informative and engaging video content, with step-by-step processes on how to complete each cleaning task. The training app is an invaluable tool for foodservice industry clients, as it automates and simplifies previously labor-intensive training processes.
The app is available in 22 different languages, although content on the app is primarily video-based. The Diversey Express app is available to download from the Apple Store, Google Play store, or from a computer or desktop.
Dr. Ilham Kadri, president of the Diversey Care division, commented:
We are excited to launch Diversey Express and provide smaller foodservice businesses with the vital food hygiene solutions which they require. We strongly believe that technology and food safety work hand-in-hand, which is why we not only developed a range of solutions and tools, but we have combined these with an innovative training app. This will ensure that we continue to exceed our customer’s expectations by reducing operational costs, increasing efficiency and driving improvement.
