by Brianna Crandall — September 5, 2016 — Nonprofit real estate management firm Christian Church Homes (CCH) in Oakland, CA, recently achieved the Accredited Management Organization (AMO) accreditation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), an international affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS that serves both the multifamily and commercial sectors. The AMO accreditation is said to be the only recognition of excellence given to real estate management firms.
CCH CEO and President Don Stump commented:
Having this credential provides an extra level of assurance to our various investors, business partners, governmental lenders and most of all our residents that CCH staff have all the tools and training necessary to provide high quality day-to-day management. As such, we continue to grow and strengthen our mission to provide affordable housing and caring communities for America’s seniors.
The nonprofit Christian Church Homes builds and manages affordable housing communities where seniors can live and thrive in the comfort of their own homes. The group has served more than 100,000 seniors over 50 years, with 53 caring communities currently that are “More Than A Home” to over 5,500 residents in seven states.
Organizations that earn the Accredited Management Organization distinction demonstrate the highest standards in professional service, financial stability and accountability, and adhere to the IREM AMO Code of Professional Ethics. AMO firms also have an executive Certified Property Manager (CPM) on their real estate management team.
