by Brianna Crandall — June 9, 2017 — Lighting provider EarthTronics, dedicated to developing innovative energy-efficient lighting products that provide a positive economic and environmental impact for its customers, has just introduced a 4000K color temperature addition to the LED Direction Adjustable Wall Pack series to provide exterior, wide-flood area illumination for commercial, industrial and municipal facilities. The new LED wall pack provides less blue light in response to related health and environmental issues.
Available in 20, 30 and 70 watts, and 4000K color of light, these fixtures provide exterior security lighting on such facilities as schools, hospitals, office buildings and other commercial or industrial structures. The addition of the 4000K color temperature offers building managers the opportunity to reduce the blue light spectrum often associated with higher color temperatures. This answers the trend away from blue light sources that can be associated with dark sky as well as health concerns.
Each of the EarthTronics Adjustable Wall Packs accepts 100 – 277-volt AC power supply. The wall packs provide more than 100 watts per lumen and a high 80+ CRI for improved visual acuity and efficient performance. The 20-watt LED wall pack provides 2100 lumens, while the 30-watt and 70-watt wall packs produce 3000 lumens and 7700 lumens, respectively.
IP65 rated for wet applications, the adjustable wall packs have a durable, high-quality, die-cast aluminum housing with a bronze powder coating that maintains its contemporary appearance for many years and features the ability to be set and locked in to any angle ranging from 0° to 90°. The wall packs have a rated life of 50,000 hours with a 10-year limited warranty. Fixtures easily install on a properly anchored UL-recognized junction box for proper installation.
The EarthTronics Adjustable Wall Packs are approved by the Design Lights Consortium (DLC). These fixtures may be accepted for utility rebates in many markets.
