The company launched the Parallel Enhancements, Vicinity Lounge and Retreat sofa and lounge furniture collections, Allsteel x Normann Copenhagen Form Rocker guest seating, and the Lyric family of task, multipurpose and side chairs, which is described below.

Lyric is a family of task, multipurpose and side chairs that offers high design and comprehensive solutions for today’s activity-based workplace. Developed in partnership with Wolfgang Deisig, founder of the Berlin-based studio Deisig Design, the comprehensive Lyric offering is available in a wide range of options, providing an appropriate seating solution for a variety of spaces and activities while maintaining a consistent aesthetic throughout the workplace.

The modern diversified workplace includes solo, team and common spaces. Employees decide how and where they want to work: individually at workstations; as a group in a conference or meeting room; or less formally in a lounge area or even a break room or café. With Lyric’s broad offering, they can select the task, side or multipurpose chair that best supports the job at hand and the setting. The chairs represent the best in clean contemporary design, and they are available in an array of colors that ranges from the classically neutral to the brightly playful, so a company can really express its personality.
The Lyric task chair is intended for use at workstations or in conference rooms. It is available as a mid-back or high-back chair, in standard or large-and-tall sizes, as a stool and with or without arms, which can be fixed or adjustable. The task chair is offered with a choice of three mechanisms for optimizing ergonomic support and personal comfort: basic synchro, enhanced synchro-tilt or weight-activated controls.
Task and side chairs are available with a mesh or upholstered mesh back to provide comfort for all-day sitting. A multitude of choices, including six mesh colors, two frame finishes and three base finishes on the task and multipurpose chairs, and a variety of seating upholsteries from fabric to leather, allows a company to make a serious statement with subdued tones or to strike an upbeat note with bold combinations of mesh and upholstery.
