by Rebecca Walker — April 6, 2011—Building on more than 20 years of experience creating software to support the process of selling office furniture, and having partnered with longstanding dealer and manufacturer customers to gain a deep understanding of their visualization needs, 20-20 Technologies has introduced 20-20 Visual Impression, software built to serve the 3D color visualization needs of the office furniture industry.
The Grand Rapids, Michigan, office of Montreal-based 20-20 Technologies developed the technology, which provides s real-time navigation and high quality rendering, allowing clients to see a crisp visualization of what the manufacturer’s product will look like in their office environment.
The software uses not only the manufacturer’s 3D shapes but also the actual finishes they offer, such as fabrics and laminates, so the client can see how different finish choices will affect the appearance of their environment.
20-20 Visual Impression was designed to be used by everyone involved in the furniture selling process. To achieve this, 20-20 Visual Impression has been tightly integrated with 20-20 CAP Studio, 20-20 Giza Studio, and 20-20 Worksheet, the design and specification software already used by most in the industry. It has been made exceptionally easy to use, according to the company, and it performs quickly on most PCs made in recent years.
