by Brianna Crandall — January 2, 2015—Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) and IIDEXCanada recently announced the winners of their annual Innovation Awards, which celebrate the industry’s leading manufacturers and suppliers within the fields of design and architecture, and recognize outstanding achievement in new product design for the built environment.
This year, 32 products were selected to receive awards, including five Gold, 18 Silver and nine Bronze. Sixteen judges from the interior design and architecture communities determined the winning projects based on their technical creativity, marketability and design ingenuity. Judges said the winners, selected from more than 70 entries, stand out as sustainable and accessible, and have the user’s well-being in mind.
