by Shane Henson — June 14, 2013—Multinational technology corporation 3M recently announced the release of its innovative 3M Resilient Floor Protection System, a system developed for facilities professionals seeking a way to optimize the appearance and extend the life of linoleum, vinyl tile and sheet vinyl floors.
According to 3M, the complete system provides tough, durable protection to keep floors looking clean and bright while requiring less maintenance and fewer chemicals. Scientifically designed to optimize and extend the life of resilient floors, the system provides long-lasting protection while improving productivity and reducing operating costs.
The system is built around a revolutionary new Scotchgard Resilient Floor Protector, a proprietary, non-yellowing hybrid formulation that protects and enhances a floor’s natural appearance, says 3M. Unlike similar products, the Scotchgard Resilient Floor Protector is easy to apply and does not require stripping. Applying just two coats of the protector produces a clean, bright appearance that is twice as resistant to abrasion as traditional floor finishes.
