ADI Time, Ingersoll Rand team on biometric terminals for time and attendance information

by Rebecca Walker — April 15, 2011—ADI Time, a leading developer of cloud computing time and attendance management software-as-a-service (SaaS) for small- to mid-sized businesses and divisions of large enterprises, has established a partnership with Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, a leading global provider of hand geometry-based Schlage HandPunch biometric terminals for collecting time and attendance information.

The business partnership entails purchase of Schlage Biometrics’ full product line, including F-Series and the new GT-400 HandPunch terminals, directly, the companies say.

The Schlage GT-400 is the first of a new generation of terminals created specifically for time and attendance and workforce management applications. The smaller, improved Schlage GT-400 HandPunch terminal uses the size and shape of each employee’s hand for verification, making it fast, efficient and easy to use. With a large LCD screen and programmable soft keys, perfect for interactive workforce management kiosks, the HandPunch GT-400 provides a conduit for employee communication right at the terminal. Its Linux platform offers software developers of time and attendance and workforce management products a variety of easy interface options.

Ingersoll Rand’s Security Technologies is a leading global provider of products and services that make environments safe, secure and productive. For more information, see the Web site.
