by Rebecca Walker — May 6, 2009—AGC Flat Glass North America has added a new product to its Comfort Ti family of low-emissivity, energy-efficient glass products. New Ti-AC 23 Low-E Glass has a solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) of 0.23 the lowest level available in a high-performance product on a clear substrate, says the company.
Because it blocks the heat and glare associated with high levels of sunlight while still allowing high levels of light transmittance Ti-AC 23 Low-E Glass is ideal for commercial projects where energy efficiency and glare control are priorities but aesthetics cannot be compromised, the company says.
Developed for use in a wide range of commercial applications, Ti-AC 23 is a high-performance product that maximizes solar control, light transmittance and air conditioning efficiency, while also minimizing glare. It features a neutral, aesthetically pleasing blue-gray hue that complements many architectural designs.
