by jbs022409 j3 — February 27, 2009—The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) has announced that it has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) through May 31, 2011.
In obtaining this approval, AIHA has demonstrated that its educational offerings comply with the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard, which is widely recognized as the “gold” standard of good practice internationally. As an Authorized Provider, AIHA is certified to approve and issue Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for all its educational offerings.
AIHA Education is designed for occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) professionals practicing industrial hygiene in industry, government, labor, academic institutions, and independent organizations worldwide. Education opportunities include the annual AIHce conference, the fall PCIH conference, distance learning, and educational partnerships and co-sponsored events.
