The IX-EA is a surface-mount, weather-resistant internet protocol (IP) video door station equipped with a 1.23–megapixel fixed color camera that can be programmed to call up to 20 different stations with three different call level selections. Additionally, video from the IX-EA intercom can be streamed to third-party devices using ONVIF Profile S or RTSP.
Additional features include:
- SIP 2.0 compliant
- White LED for low-light illumination
- 802.3af PoE compliant
- 600Ω audio output for paging or communication
For additional customization, sound files can be uploaded for custom messages to be played during certain scenarios. This allows users to choose their own sounds for door release, call placed, communication start, and error message. The IX-EA features audible and visual indications for calling, communication, and door release.
The IX Series features the power of an enterprise platform with the simplicity of a single system, offering scalable enterprise security. IX Series solutions are well-suited for commercial sites, industrial facilities, schools, campuses, parking garages, retail, correctional and emergency calling applications.
With 50 years of experience, Aiphone offers highly configurable systems ranging from do-it-yourself (DIY) audio intercoms, through sophisticated video entry systems, to enterprise-level, IP-based communication networks with emergency call stations.
