by Rebecca Walker — January 19, 2009—AirTest Technologies Inc. has announced that its carbon dioxide sensor and control products for energy efficient ventilation control in buildings have been included in an energy efficiency program by Pasadena Water and Power called the “Direct Install Emerging Technology Program.”
This program will cover 100 percent of the first $25,000 of installation cost, and 50 percent of cost over $25,000 for selected energy saving equipment to be installed in buildings in Pasadena, California.
AirTest’s self-calibrating CO(2) sensors save energy in buildings by regulating outside air ventilation based on the actual number of people in a space. For more information, see the Web site.
