November 22, 2006—AlbEO Technologies Inc. releases the new Talea-HP series white-LED linear lighting system designed to replace fluorescent, halogen, and incandescent light fixtures in cabinet, cove, and display applications for residential, retail, and commercial lighting markets.
With illumination levels of 425 lumens/foot, the Talea-HP provides lighting levels equivalent to one 15-Watt halogen bulb every six inches, one 8-Watt (F8T5) fluorescent fixture every foot, or one 15-Watt (F15T8) fluorescent fixture every 18 inches.
The extremely bright Talea-HP linear light fixture is an ideal lighting solution because it lasts longer, uses less energy, runs cooler, is environmentally friendly (no mercury) and provides a high-quality lighting experience, says the company.
At only 8 watts power per foot, the Talea-HP is five times more efficient than incandescent, three times more efficient than halogen and equivalent to most fluorescent solutions, the company says.
