American Society of Safety Engineers announces 2011 virtual classroom schedule

by Brianna Crandall — January 24, 2011—The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) has released its schedule for 2011 technical Webinars on a variety of safety, health and environmental (SH&E) topics offering continuing education units.

Webinars for January through May 2011 include such titles as:

  • “Responding to Safety and Environmental Incidents: Is Your Company Prepared to Handle a Catastrophe or Disaster?”
  • “Engaging Executive Ergonomic Leadership”
  • “Industrial Hygiene Sampling for the Safety Professional”
  • “Advanced Topics in Behavioral Safety”
  • “Electrical Safety Risk Management”

ASSE says its Webcasts are an excellent way for SH&E and related professionals to engage in continuing education via an interactive, online course. New Webinars will be announced throughout the year as they are developed. Webinars of interest that are missed can be downloaded later from ASSE’s Webinar archive at the user’s convenience.
