AMSI releases dashboard solution for strategic property management

by Shane Henson — March 14, 2012—AMSI, an innovative provider of construction and property management operations and accounting software for commercial real estate, has added ePortfolio Decision, a new Business Intelligence (BI) software tool, to its collection of software for property management executives. ePortfolio Decision analyzes essential business data and provides executives with at-a-glance views of real-time property performance.

Implementing the right BI solution helps companies minimize the data overload, or conversely the data silos, which impede good decision making at all levels—improving the timeliness and business value of decisions, says AMSI. This is the driving vision behind AMSI’s development of ePortfolio Decision, built to address this need by empowering property management companies with a competitive solution that helps them gather and analyze critical data on maintenance, performance and revenue-generating assets to keep pace with revenue opportunity.

Browser-neutral, the ePortfolio Decision dashboard can be viewed virtually anywhere, including on the iPad or iPad2. It displays financial and operational data in real time, quickly identifying trends for executives and providing keen insight into organizational behavior.

In a controlled release, ePortfolio Decision received high marks, says AMSI.

“ePortfolio Decision proved itself immediately by bringing added value to our existing investment in AMSI’s property management solutions,” said Michael Tobin, president of Group Five Management, a Michigan-based real estate and property management firm with a portfolio that includes more than 33 properties throughout the United States. “Our executives gained clear visibility and insight into property performance data across our portfolio in real-time—actionable information for smart decisions. It was also easy to tailor the data filters depending on the user’s role or region in our organization. For example, it helped our property managers to see the big picture on their particular property.”
