by Rebecca Walker — April 11, 2011—Arcadia announced it has launched Rendezvous, a furniture line it describes an intelligent and minimalist solution for creating conference and meeting environments with ease. The flexible and configurable line can create productive environments for gatherings of every kind, including planned meetings, impromptu brainstorms, and board room discussions.
Manufactured in Maple, Walnut or rift-cut White Oak, the collection includes conference tables, wall units, credenzas, buffet credenzas, mobile carts and media boards, all with the range of pieces needed to outfit conference and presentation rooms, touch-down spaces, casual meeting areas and private offices, according to the company.
Conference tables are available in four shapes and feature a signature edge detail that complements both transitional and contemporary settings. Table tops are offered in all standard and custom veneers and laminates, as well as an easily interchangeable inset option in various materials including Write-Off, an ink-resistant faux-leather upholstery. Four base styles, ranging from light-scale panels to substantial multi-dimensional pedestals, are completed with wood or aluminum end caps and a choice of concave or convex profiles, all of which facilitate power and data technology.
Wall units comprised of storage cabinets, hutches, towers, tech boxes, and flat screen back panels are offered in various sizes and can be specified in any combination to optimize the space they inhabit. The key to their perfect fit is a mini storage “cubby,” which acts as a cohesive filler piece. Positioned between cabinets to complete any overall dimension, it provides an affordable alternative for maximizing wall space without customizing individual components, notes the company.
