Achella Modular is thoughtfully designed and meticulously executed, according to Arcadia. A striking die-cast aluminum leg anchors straight and wedge-shaped units which allow maximum configurability. Intended for public seating areas in higher education institutions, healthcare facilities, corporate offices, hospitality, retail, convention centers and the like, Achella Modular consists of arm and armless lounge seats, tables and benches that form curvilinear configurations, straight-line arrangements, or combinations of both.
The design of Achella Modular stemmed from the signature leg featured on the original Achella Lounge collection. Helen Kim, Arcadias Director of Marketing, explains: “We wanted to showcase the leg in another product offering since modular seating has become a growing category for us, it made sense to design a collection that would allow even greater flexibility in terms of configurability. Inspired by the incorporation of wedge-shaped units, Achella Modular thus evolved and became all the things we wanted and more.”
With its smaller scale and highly adaptable nature, Achella Modular is well-suited in any environment. Its distinctive wedge shape models allow for a variety of sinuous configurations, including a full circle, while its straight shape counterparts enable classic straight line arrangements. Easy to specify and easier to install, Achella Modular also has the added benefit of being reconfigurable at will.
Arm and armless lounge units are available straight or as 30-degree inside or outside wedge models and can be positioned in any order, any combination. Benches are offered as straight, 30-degree or 90-degree shapes and tables come in five varying sizes from two widths of straight and 30-degree tables to a 90-degree unit. All feature the signature metal leg which can be finished in polished aluminum as well as powdercoat metallic silver or satin black.
Achella Modular also features a variety of multi-functional accessories including a 360-degree rotating tablet, stationary table-ette, cup-holder, power tray, ganging connector, casters, and a pull handle for easy mobility.
