by Ann Withanee — October 20, 2010—Arconas celebrates flower power with a playful, youthful collage of ottomans. Recently launched at the nation’s premier design conference and expo, IIDEX/NeoCon Canada, Fiore is a modular collage of ottomans designed for the young and the young at heart, says manufacturer Arconas. With a raised central hub and five movable petals, Fiore is a safe, bright and inviting place for children to gather and play.
The raised central hub is 20-in. in diameter by 17.5-in. high and is available fully upholstered or with an integrated laminate top or whiteboard tablet. The movable petals are 14.5-in. high and are available with durable glides or castors. Fiore’s construction is environmentally friendly, using CFC-free fire retardant HR, soy-based Bio-foam and is inherently low V.O.C. and formaldehyde free. A seating system designed to help architects and designers achieve LEED credits for commercial interiors.
The indoor seating system meets the high performance demands of children’s play areas, in hospitals, doctor’s offices, libraries and more. Fiore, says Arconas, is a bouquet of brilliance that can be covered in any type of fabric, vinyl or leather.
