by Ann Withanee — August 1, 2011—Pacific Interior, the innovative curved-face modular interior signage solution by ASI Signage, now features design accents and Print on Panel finishing technology. Pacific Interior was the first curved-face signage solution introduced into the architectural signage market 15 years ago, according to ASI. New features are design accents that can be used to accentuate the curved face of the panel as well as to bring extra help for wayfinding. In addition, designers can now utilize photographic-quality graphics and implement true-white ink graphic designs through Pacific Interior’s new Print on Panel finishing technology.

Pacific’s new design accents help improve wayfinding and enhance the distinctive curved style of Pacific Interior. The design accents can be selected from a wide range of colors, offering an effective solution for color-coded and directory-oriented wayfinding. Pacific Interior’s new accents are also available in custom shapes and can be placed in multiple orientations between the panels, providing an excellent means of directional wayfinding.

Also new to Pacific Interior is Print on Panel. With this cutting-edge technology, lettering and graphics are digitally printed directly onto the signage panels. Print on Panel allows designers and facilities managers greater freedom of expression to communicate their facility’s brand and to better complement the architectural design as well as its unique dcor. Print on Panel also gives greater possibilities for innovative and nuanced wayfinding solutions.

Pacific Interior is also an eco-friendly signage solution. The durable construction and modular design of Pacific Interior allows for more time in the life-cycle and less time in the waste-cycle. At the end of its life within one facility, it can be split into its individual components and be reused in another program or application, perhaps for temporary signs.
