by AF 0818 i3 — August 23, 2010—Assa Abloy Americas Division has acquired Security Metal Products of California, a well established U.S. manufacturer of standard and specialty high security custom hollow metal commercial doors and frames. The global firm is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
Security Metal Products, established in 1955, is headquartered in Southern California with manufacturing facilities and regional offices in North America and 150 employees.
