ASSE SH&E consultants directory now available

by Brianna Crandall — May 16, 2014—The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), said to be the world’s oldest professional safety organization, has released a new directory guide filled with expert consultants to help nearly any business resolve safety, health, and environmental (SH&E)-related issues.

Each year, ASSE says it receives a significant number of technical inquiries from its members and beyond requesting assistance. The directory was created to provide a way for these callers to get immediate access to some of the best SH&E experts in the field.

“The directory is a tremendous resource for anyone looking for assistance with solving safety-related concerns in their organizations,” said ASSE Consultants Practice Specialty Administrator Pam Walaski. “It’s a must-have for anyone in addressing SH&E related issues. As occupational and industrial issues continue to become more and more complex, this resource will be able to assist a wide range of organizations from the largest multinational conglomerates to the smallest businesses.”

The directory was developed to provide companies and organizations with a resource for solving their issues related to SH&E regulatory compliance, management systems and best practices. The directory lists consulting firms and individual consultants engaged in a wide variety of customized services in the SH&E arena.

The SH&E Consultants Directory is available online, and is complimentary to any interested party looking for assistance. Searches can be either geographic or by expertise. The consultant is listed along with his/her background and contact information. The intent of the directory is to make it more efficient and effective for users of SH&E consulting services to find a consultant able to meet their needs, says ASSE.
