The ASSE Refresher Guide was first published by ASSE in 1984, and revised in 1991, 1997, and 2002. In 1997, a separate volume was added to further help applicants prepare for the safety fundamentals exam. Volume Two now contains more than 500 questions, and, the computational problems have worked solutions. All of the examination topics are discussed and explained in the first volume.

The new ASSE Refresher Guide contains the latest best practices and current codes, regulations, standards, and references used today by safety professionals, says ASSE. Each chapter was thoroughly reviewed and modified to reflect the knowledge and skills needed by today’s practicing certified safety professional (CSP).

The new ASSE Refresher Guide is also a valuable resource for the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) candidate, says ASSE.
