by Shane Henson — June 27, 2012—AtSite Inc., a company created to improve the value of buildings and spaces by offering holistic solutions that lower costs, increase value, and deliver better environments for people, recently announced that it has selected Panoramic Power’s innovative P3E energy management system to provide its clients with detailed, highly accurate perspectives on energy usage at the individual circuit or device level.
AtSite says it added Panoramic Power to its growing list of solution partners because of the company’s ability to provide a scalable and easy-to-deploy system, utilizing wireless sensor technology to provide visibility into energy consumption at the individual circuit level. The system provides real-time data on energy usage of specific devices and equipment and provides operational insights that are used to reduce energy and maintenance costs.
Panoramic Power’s series of wireless, self-powered sensors are engineered to allow rapid, non-invasive installation. Once installed, the sensors become part of the smart building infrastructure providing real-time information to Panoramic Power’s powerful cloud-based analytics platform. That platform translates energy consumption data into a broad set of applications, including detailed energy management, equipment load optimization and balancing, sub-metering, failure prediction and preventive maintenance. Additionally, various latitudinal and longitudinal algorithms can be set to identify anomalous activities across similar systems or buildings.
AtSite said it completed testing of the Panoramic Power solution earlier this year and now has active deployments in numerous facilities, including restaurants, supermarkets, and retailer facilities. Most recently, AtSite chose to utilize the Panoramic Power solution as it expanded its Building Performance Management work for the U.S. Green Building Council’s headquarters in Washington, DC.
