by Rebecca Walker — December 5, 2008—Bentley Prince Street, Inc., a leading manufacturer of stylish floorcoverings for nearly three decades, has launched three new styles IndustraFelt, Machine Made and Mass Produced—inspired by the intersection of mechanically produced goods and craftsmanship. All three styles are available in broadloom and 18-inch-by-18-inch carpet tile.

The clean, crisp pattern in IndustraFelt captures the essence of the industrial look, while Machine

Made and Mass Produced feature modern patterns with vibrant texture, says the company.

In developing the common color palette for these products, Bentley Prince Street’s designers explored colors of raw materials found in industrial production, and then added accents of spark and flash. The result is 18 elegant neutrals, with six bold statements of impact color.

IndustraFelt, Machine Made and Mass Produced are manufactured with Antron Legacy 6,6 nylon, which minimizes soil-trapping while providing superior resistance to crushing, matting, soil penetration and wear. These products are installed standard with High PerfomancePC. backing, which contains a minimum average 10 percent post-consumer recycled content. All Bentley Prince Street standard broadloom and carpet tile products have achieved Sustainable Choice Gold certification, as certified by Scientific Certification Systems, an independent, third-party certifier of environmental claims.
