May 14, 2004—The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) and Ark e-Management have launched an online register of key performance indicators for facilities management.
BIFM members will pilot the register between now and October when it will be available for use by the FM community at large. During the pilot period, BIFM members will be able to modify and add to the service performance indicators.
The register contains all known Key Performance Indicators (KPI) used in facilities management. Users can customize the register to show the services for which they want key performance indicators.
BIFM members can access the register online by clicking on the new KPI Register icon.
The initials A-R-K stand for Assets, Resources and Knowledge. ARKs services range from strategic consulting to project management and implementation of operational changes that deliver real and lasting solutions to organizational problems.
