by Brianna Crandall — October 12, 2012—The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM), with headline sponsor Mace, announced the winners of its BIFM Awards 2012: Recognising Excellence in FM on October 8 at a gala celebration in London. The 11th annual Awards recognize and celebrate excellence in U.K. facilities management. The 2012 Awards saw the highest number of entries to date, with a 50 percent increase from 2011, which BIFM says demonstrates the growing role of facilities management in enabling and empowering businesses to succeed.
