by Shane Henson — September 5, 2012—Bloomsburg Carpet Industries, a maker of highly styled woven broadloom carpet, recently announced the introduction of its new Lineal collection.
Combining contemporary colors and a modern aesthetic achieved through clean lines and textures, the collection offers four distinctive yet complementary styles: Lineal, Grid, Inverse Grid and Rib. Thirty-three colorways ranging from neutral to contemporary are available across the four styles.
All of the products are made with Zeftron nylon, a 100-percent fully renewable premium nylon six-fiber brand, the company says. Zeftron nylon is a closed-loop, MBDC Cradle to Cradle Certified brand that comes standard with a minimum of 25 percent recycled content in each yarn system. Through Zeftron, products in the Lineal Collection can contribute to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program credits, and come with lifetime performance and stain removal guarantees.
Utilizing Bloomsburg’s “superior” weaving process for broadloom carpet with Zeftron’s rich color palette and styling options, the Lineal collection is highly versatile and sophisticated, making it a perfect solution for any high-end corporate or hospitality environment.
Nine colors, such as Barley, Charcoal, Olive, Sage, Teal and Pimento, make up the Grid style. Seven colors, including Boxwood, Carob, Chipotle, Jade, Steel, Stout and Zinc are featured in both the Inverse Grid and Lineal styles. Ten colors make up the Rib collection. The complementary colors and linear patterns can work seamlessly together across a number of spaces—from a conference room, to a lobby to a hallway—to create a striking interior design statement.
“Lineal continues the high style, sophistication and unsurpassed quality Bloomsburg is known for,” said James Cody, Bloomsburg vice president of sales. “Designers will enjoy mixing and matching the different styles that work well together. What’s more, Lineal offers an excellent sustainability element.”
In addition to Lineal, designers can choose from other woven carpets within Bloomsburg Carpets’ product line. Beyond being versatile and of high quality, most of Bloomsburg Carpets are environmentally sustainable and are certified Green Label Plus, the higher standard for indoor air quality, the company says.
Pennsylvania-based Bloomsburg Carpet Industries has produced high-quality carpets for over 35 years.
