CDVI launches Terena Web-based access control security system

by Rebecca Walker — February 19, 2010—CDVI has introduced Terena, an access control solution that manages remote administration of a site from a simple Internet connection.

The site is simple and intuitive, and can be managed from a 3G telephone, an Internet café, the office, home or an Internet terminal via a standard Web browser, says the company.

Terena does not require the installation of any software, because this cross-platform solution (PC, MAC and LINUX) has an interface embedded on an SD card. The site administrator can access this interface directly via a standard Web browser. This SD card also makes it possible to define the language of the interface, and it contains the complete data base of the site.
