by Shane Henson — September 25, 2013—Facilities managers needing to replace old faucets or purchase new ones for a facility under construction will find an array of new and newly lead-free faucets within Chicago Faucets’ new 2013 catalog.
The catalog is a comprehensive resource, providing descriptions and list prices for a wide range of faucets and fittings currently available from Chicago Faucets, says the company. Highlighted in this new catalog are the latest additions to the line, including electronic faucets, 3500 Series metering faucets, and workboard faucets designed especially for food service applications. One major advantage of buying from Chicago Faucets is the interchangeability of faucet components, the company notes. Chicago Faucets spouts, outlets and handles are interchangeable, allowing for easy product updates and modifications to meet the requirements of any job.
New for 2013, every potable-water fitting in the Chicago Faucets catalog has been converted to ECAST, the company adds. All ECAST products are manufactured with no more than 0.25 percent total lead content by weighted average. Previously, only certain Chicago Faucets were available in ECAST. Now, customers can be sure that whenever they specify and install fittings from Chicago Faucets, they are in compliance with local codes regarding lead reduction, as well as the forthcoming federal Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water law. ECAST products are easy to identify: every ECAST product features “AB” in the model number, says Chicago Faucets.
The new 2013 Commercial Catalog is similar in layout and organization to the previous version, making it easy for plumbing professionals to find the right faucet, fitting or component for any application, points out the company. Product images and descriptions highlight the unique benefits of Chicago Faucets products.
