CIBSE announces plans for new, official CIBSE Journal

by Jbs120908 g3 — December 15, 2008—The UK’s Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) plans to launch a new, official CIBSE Journal in February 2009, providing members with a “fresh and exciting” industry magazine that reflects the diversities and complexities of the sector.

CIBSE says the publication, which will be free to all members, will help the organization deliver the information its readers need to stay ahead in the building services industry. CIBSE particularly wants to communicate its initiatives to help engineer a sustainable built environment clearly and effectively to the CIBSE membership and to the wider building services industry.

Stephen Matthews of CIBSE commented, “We are proud to announce the launch of the CIBSE Journal. I am confident that this new publication will play a key role in providing CIBSE members with a high standard of editorial that will both inspire them in their work and, at the same time, equip them to supply the sustainable buildings and environmental performance needed by society in the 21st century.”
