CILS releases “VOID”-evident and solvent-resistant durable labels

by Brianna Crandall — February 8, 2015—Durable label technologies manufacturer Computer Imprintable Label Systems (CILS) has released new industrial-grade security labels and solvent-resistant durable labels in recent weeks, highlighted below.

CILS-8/9200V Tamper Evident Security Labels

Said to be impossible to cleanly remove, the new CILS-8/9200V industrial-grade security labels display an immediate “VOID” warning message on attempted removal, providing fail-safe product protection in minutes, straight from an existing personal computer (PC) and standard office printer.

The ultra-high-strength, fast-curing CILS adhesive is designed to provide an instant bond to all smooth, textured, powder-coated, low-energy, and oily surfaces and to survive the harshest industrial environments, making it well-suited for all product warranty, liability and safety applications.

Variable data can be added “in-house, on-demand” from a standard laser or thermal transfer printer, providing an instant ultra-durable security solution, adds CILS.

CILS also launched the CILS-8200S ultimate high-performance, solvent-resistant durable label range, engineered to provide permanent lifelong adhesion and resistance to aggressive chemicals and solvents such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), hydraulic brake fluids and more, ensuring critical product data remains legible.

The unique CILS computer printable surface coating allows variable data (serial numbers, barcodes, etc.) to be printed in minutes straight from an existing PC and thermal transfer printer, providing a hi-tech “print-and-apply” solvent-resistant labeling solution, eliminating difficult over-laminating and secondary lacquers.
