CMiC introduces project management module for construction and engineering

July 5, 2002—Computer Methods international Corp. (CMiC) has announced the release of a new Project Management module designed to manage the entire project lifecycle in concert with its enterprise-class mPOWER software for the construction and engineering industries.

Created with the active participation of its user community, mPOWER’s Project Management addresses the increase in project control requirements while eliminating the double entry typically required when maintaining separate PM and Accounting systems. Project professionals now have the benefit of a state-of-the-art Project Management tool completely integrated within an architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC)-specific financial accounting system.

The mPOWER Project Management module addresses all aspects of project control including functionality to produce and maintain distribution lists, meeting minutes, document management, submittals, transmittals, to do lists, invitations to bid, bid packages, bid analysis, change orders (Owner, Subcontractor, Internal), and more.

mPOWER’s Project Management module represents a combination of comprehensive PM functionality and leading-edge Oracle technologies. As with all CMiC applications, Project Management is Internet ready and shares a common database with the entire mPOWER software system. For more information visit CmiC or call 416/736-0123.
