Color Wheel Paint launches high-performance acrylic surface sealer

by Shane Henson — October 7, 2011—Facilities managers preparing to paint existing buildings may be impressed with Color Wheel Paint’s newest product in its Flex Lox System line of coatings, 1260 Flex Lox Surface Sealer.

Designed for previously painted surfaces, Flex Lox Surface Sealer binds chalk and promotes topcoat adhesion. The superior hide and coverage of the product assists in labor reduction and product savings on the finish coat. Flex Lox Surface Sealer is low odor and meets the LEED standard for low VOC (less than 50 g/L).

Flex Lox Surface Sealer is a key component of the Flex Lox System, formulated to resist fading, chalking, mildew and organic growth while simultaneously protecting against heat, humidity and direct sun exposure. This product is designed as a companion primer for use with Flex Lox Flat (1240) and Satin (1270).

Used together, these products represent a complete high build exterior coating system. All Flex Lox System products are designed for use in residential, commercial and light industrial applications where superior performance is desired and provide unmatched protection for the demanding climate of the Southeast.
