The integration will empower ista customers with real-time information about energy usage and deliver the ability to control thermostats and other smart devices for further savings, the companies say.
The ista Energy Intelligence Platform is a distributed application infrastructure that provides data analysis on customers’ consumption and energy cost patterns, and how they match up to their unique financial and usage-based Energy Plans.
Where other services and products have focused primarily on providing customers visualization of their electric consumption throughout a day, the Energy Intelligence Platform leverages ista’s advanced competitive market billing capabilities to make it easy for customers to understand the financial impacts of their lifestyles, says ista. By integrating ista’s EIP with the Control4 EMS 100, ista can optimize its energy efficiency programs, particularly during peak load or pricing periods.
For consumers, the EMS 100 includes an on-site energy controller, the Control4 EC-100; and a ZigBee HA wireless thermostat, the Control4 WT-100.
