Hernis develops advanced camera-based surveillance systems for marine and oil and gas installations worldwide, providing increased efficiency and safety in hazardous areas and under extreme conditions.
The acquisition of Hernis Scan Systems is the fifth acquisition by Cooper in 2010 and the third in the explosion-proof harsh and hazardous environment platform.
Cooper Safety is a leading manufacturer of emergency lighting, security, fire detection and notification systems also offering lighting fixtures, and electrical installation materials.
