The offering combines a new locking solution, the Corbin Russwin HP3000 Tubular Lock, with an attractive and functional push/pull paddle trim. UL Listed for use with Fire Rated doors, the lock is easily field-configurable in several mounting options for maximum flexibility.
The non-handed trim is offered in a range of finishes including stainless steel and features a MicroShield antimicrobial finish option. The paddle shape and location of the trim create a highly visible and comfortable target for door activation using hips or elbows. It is available with “push” and “pull” identification on paddles and is fully ADA-compliant, notes the company.
According to the company, it is appropriate for a wide range of behavioral healthcare settings, including behavioral health units, patient room doors, assisted living facilities, de-escalation rooms and psychiatric facilities. It can also be used in various educational settings, such as classrooms and laboratories.
